Production and staging

All web hosting accounts have a production environment. A staging environment is a separate copy where you can try out changes before they are published to production. Staging has its own system address and its own database. Custom domains are only available in production.

To create staging:

1. Open the Environments tab.
2. Click Create staging environment.

The environment appears when it is ready. It is included in the price. On container hosting, staging has a fixed size.
