What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember settings, improve the user experience and collect anonymized statistics about how the website is used.

In addition to traditional cookies, we also use local storage (localStorage) in the browser to remember certain settings. Local storage works in a similar way, but the data is not automatically sent to the server with every page visit. Both types of storage are described in the table below.

Cookies can be “first-party” (set by the website you are visiting) or “third-party” (set by an external service used by the website). They can also be “session” cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or “persistent” cookies (stored for a specific period).

The table below shows which cookies are used on digiserv.no:

* localStorage data is not deleted automatically, but you can remove it via your browser settings.
Analytics cookies are only set if you have given your consent. Without consent, only anonymous signals without identifiers are sent, which cannot be linked to you.

Third-party cookies

The website uses external services that may set their own cookies:

Google Analytics – collects anonymized statistics about how the website is used. The service runs with Google's Consent Mode (Consent Mode v2). Without consent, we set no cookies and only send anonymous signals without identifiers. See Google's privacy policy.

For information about other third-party services we use (Cloudflare Turnstile, Anthropic and others), see our privacy policy. These services do not set cookies.

Manage your choices

You can change your cookie settings at any time by clicking the button below. You can also delete cookies via your browser settings.

Most browsers also let you block all cookies, but please be aware that this may affect the functionality of the website.

For more information about how we process personal data, see our privacy policy.
