Tools

The Tools tab has two cards:

• Dynamic DNS: lets a router or server update an A or AAAA record when the IP address changes. See DNS.
• Your own certificates (ACME DNS-01): for you if you create Let's Encrypt certificates, including wildcard certificates, on your own servers. Click Set up, and we create an account that can only update the ACME challenge for the domain. When DNS is with us, the CNAME record for _acme-challenge can be added automatically. If DNS is elsewhere, you add it yourself.

The API key for ACME is only shown once, right after the account is created. Keep it safe. Under Client setup, you find ready-made examples for acme.sh, certbot, lego and cert-manager. If you have lost the key, click Create new key. The old one then stops working immediately.
