Overview

The Overview tab shows the status of the domain in four cards:

• Registration: whether the domain is registered with us, and the date it renews automatically.
• Name servers: whether the domain uses our name servers or others.
• Website: the web hosting account the domain is connected to, the address it redirects to, or whether it is parked.
• Certificate: whether the domain has a Let's Encrypt certificate, and when it expires.

Above the cards, there may be a message when something should be checked, for example:

• The domain uses other name servers: the DNS records in the panel do not apply until the domain points to our name servers.
• Registered elsewhere, with other name servers: the domain is registered with another provider and uses the name servers there. Change the name servers to ours with that provider.
• The name servers are changed, but not published yet: the switch to our name servers has been made at the registry, but has not gone out yet. Changes to DNS here apply as soon as it has.
• Changed to other name servers: the domain has been switched away from our name servers, but the switch has not gone out yet. Once it has, the DNS records here no longer apply.
• The website is hosted elsewhere: the domain points to a server that is not ours.
• The domain points to several places or www points elsewhere: visitors may end up in different places.
• Changes in progress: a job is running on the domain. The page updates itself when it is done.
