The domain list
The list shows each domain with its status and what it is Connected to: a web hosting account, a redirect or Not connected to anything.
- Type in Search the domains to find a domain. The search also looks at the name of the web hosting account the domain is connected to.
- The filter next to the search splits the list into All, With us (registered with us), External (registered with another provider) and Needs a look. A filter is only shown when it contains domains.
- Click a row to open the domain page.
The status badges mean:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Being registered | We are registering or transferring the domain right now. |
| Registration failed | The registration did not go through. We have been notified and are looking into it. |
| External domain | The domain is registered with another provider. |
| Parked | The domain shows a simple page saying that it is parked. New domains stay like this until you connect them to something. |
| External name servers | The domain uses name servers other than ours. DNS changes in the panel have no effect. |
| External hosting | The website on the domain is on a server that is not ours. |
| In use | The domain is connected to a web hosting account or is redirected. |
Needs a look collects the domains where registration failed and the domains with external name servers.
