Email on your PC and phone
This guide is for you if you use an email account from Digiserv. If you need to create accounts, reset passwords or set up aliases, you'll find that under Email in the control panel guide.
You need your email address, for example ola@yourcompany.no, and the password your administrator gave you. The account comes with 15 GB of storage by default, and your administrator can expand it to 50 GB.
- Webmail: get started in a minuteRead and send email in your browser at webmail.digiserv.no, with nothing to install. Log in with your full email address.
- Settings for your email appServer, port and security for IMAP and SMTP. The values are the same in every app, and the username is always your full email address.
- Windows: Outlook and ThunderbirdAdd your email account to new Outlook, classic Outlook or Thunderbird on Windows. The old Mail app no longer works.
- Mac: Apple MailAdd your email account to Mail on macOS. Choose “Other Mail Account” and enter the servers manually when Mail can't find them on its own.
- iPhone and iPadFastest with our setup profile: enter your name and email address, and the servers are filled in for you. Manual setup is covered too.
- Android: Gmail and OutlookAdd your email account to the Gmail app or the Outlook app on Android. Both work well with IMAP.
- Out-of-office replyYou set up auto-replies yourself in webmail under Settings and Out of Office, with a start, an end and a message.
- Spam and the spam folderAll email is scanned before it's delivered. Here's what happens to spam, and what to do when an important email ends up in the wrong place or goes missing.
- Forgot your passwordThere's no “forgot password” link for your email account. Your administrator can create a new password in under a minute.
- TroubleshootingWrong username or password, can send but not receive, certificate warning, full mailbox and bounced email. The most common problems, and what to check.
