Recovery codes

When you turn on two-factor, you get 10 recovery codes. If you lose your phone, you can sign in with one of them instead of the one-time code. Each code can be used once. The codes are only shown this one time, so save them with Copy all, Download or Print, ideally in a password manager.

On the Security tab you can see how many unused codes you have left, and when you last used one. If you have fewer than three left, you see Few codes left. Consider regenerating.

1. Click Regenerate recovery codes.
2. Confirm with Regenerate.
3. Save the new codes and click Done.
