What's missing compared to Microsoft 365?

This is a simple email solution – the focus is on reliable delivery, webmail and shared addresses. If your business needs shared calendars, contact sync between devices, Teams or the Office apps, Microsoft 365 is the right choice.

Can I use my usual email app?

Yes. Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, mobile – all the usual ones work. Setup is automatic, so you just need to enter your password.

Do I have to change anything in my domain settings myself?

No. If your domain is with us, everything is set up automatically, and anything already there is kept. If your domain is with another provider, you'll find the few values you need to enter there in the control panel.

How much storage is included?

Each email account has 15 GB, which holds many years of email for most people. If someone needs more, you expand just that account to 50 GB. You can send attachments of up to 25 MB.

How is email billed?

The price is per domain, with up to 20 email accounts included. You pay for twelve months at a time. Extra storage is ordered per account and paid for the same way.

How secure is signing in?

All email traffic is encrypted, and passwords are stored in a modern, secure way. Suspicious sign-in attempts are blocked automatically.

What about backups?

All email is backed up daily. If you delete a mailbox by accident, you have 30 days to undo it. Settings and accounts are stored separately for extra peace of mind.

Where can I find help setting up the accounts?

The Help Center at digiserv.no/en/help has step-by-step instructions for creating accounts, aliases and distribution lists, and for setting up email in Outlook, Apple Mail and on your phone.

Can I have email with you without having my domain with you?

Yes. You don't move the domain – you just enter a few values at your current domain provider, and you're up and running. We'll send you what you need.
